Combining the power of hypnosis with the science of CBT and the wisdom of mindfulness, I will guide you through a set of powerful relaxation, mental imagery, self-instruction and focused attention exercises.
In these sessions, you will learn to reduce the intensity, frequency and duration of your pain and manage chronic pain that drains the energy and joy from your life.
Using this skills-based approach to pain management, you will sleep better, feel better and start taking your life back.
In these sessions, you will learn and practise powerful meditative techniques to focus your attention and harness your imagination to affect positive change.
We will work together to strengthen and develop your skills to focus less on your current distress, painful experiences from the past or worries about the future by shifting attention from internal experiences to external experiences.
You will develop survival strategies to get through distressing times without acting on your impulses and making things worse.
You will become adept at recognising, managing and balancing the emotions you feel without becoming overwhelmed by them. You will be able to make a conscious decision to change how you feel by choosing to act or think differently.
You will develop the ability to respect yourself and others, becoming more effective in expressing your beliefs and needs, setting limits and finding solutions in your dealings with others. By improving your relationships, you will increase your ability to communicate well and increase your coping and confidence.
