Helping People to Live Well for Over 30 Years

When I was a boy, I studied for the priesthood and discovered that I did not wish to be part of an organised religion.

I drifted for a while, working in a circus and spent some time struggling with my demons before  joining an alternative community, where I practiced Yang Style Tai Chi Ch'uan, Natural Dance, Contact Improvisation, Raja Yoga, Co-Counselling, Herbal Medicine and Gestalt Therapy.


Since then, I have worked extensively in the Public and Voluntary sectors supporting individuals and groups addressing issues such as Substance Use, Domestic Violence, Parenting issues, Anxiety, Depression, Problem-Solving, Personality Disorders and Psychosis drawing upon my training in ACT, CBT, DBT, Open Dialogue and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy.

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, trained in ACT, accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and  the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council.   A member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science,  I combine breath and body techniques from India and China with strategies and techniques grounded in the best available scientific evidence and the experience gained supporting vulnerable people to help professionals working in homelessness, mental health and substance use to stop feeling exhausted, overworked and demotivated by improving work-life balance, energy and resilience.


My wellbeing workshops help people feel better, sleep better and find their mojo..

I do this work because I love to help cultivate people's ability to live well,  free from the tyranny of self-limiting thoughts, overwhelming emotions and self-defeating behaviours that suck the joy from our lives and make us feel small.
